- Jed posted his disappointment on Facebook.
Although Jed Madela was flattered on having an article about him, he expressed his disappointment on the click-bait nature of the said article. In Boy Abunda’s column titled, SHOWBIZ NEWS NOW NA!, he titled the article: “Jed ramdam na ramdam na laos na.” Jed posted his disappointment on Facebook.
In Jed’s Facebook post, he wrote how he actually appreciated people writing about him in the papers.
“I appreciate it when people write about me in the papers but come on, what’s with the titles and headlines??? #ClickBait”
In the said article, Boy wrote how Jed would have limited performances in ASAP. Jed felt unwanted and insignificant during those times. He also explained why he didn’t want to call his supporters “fans.”
“Na-limit ‘yung performances ko sa ASAP. So I felt unwanted and insignificant kasi hindi na ako sikat or hindi na nila ako kailangan. It was the fans who really made me feel better. They would message me saying, ‘Kuya Jed, nandito pa rin kami.’ Personally I don’t want to call them fans kasi nahihiya ako. They’re family to me, they are friends. I’m better now. I needed time to rest things. I needed to be surrounded by the right people, by the right projects. I’m doing a bit better, not fully recovered but better than before.”
