Rumors have always been suggested that Jasmine would either transfer to ABS-CBN Corporation or GMA Network after her contract with TV5.
Jasmine expressed her excitement on the said network transfer. She continued that this will be a crazy ride.
“Now that we’re here, ito na ‘yon, excited na ako, ano ba ang gagawin ko, it’s a crazy ride na excited na akong ma-discover kung ano ba ‘yung haharapin ko.”
According to Jasmine herself, she heavily prepared for transferring from TV 5 and GMA Network.
“Ito na ‘yon, ito na ‘yon, we’re preparing lang and making sure na lahat ng ilalabas namin for the upcoming years with GMA maganda and worth it for them to watch.”
Ever since her contract in TV5 expired, she already prepared for her network transfer. She also continued that she had to straighten up her personal life first and that she took a step back first.
“Ever since matapos ‘yung (other network) contract natin. Actually before pang matapos ‘yun nag-usap na kami. But ‘yun nga, at that time ang daming nangyayari in my personal life that I had to also take a step back lang muna tapos configure lang kung ano ba ‘yung priorities ko at that moment. Blessed lang kami and thankful na willing to wait si GMA, Ms. Gigi and Ms. Lilybeth.”
Jasmine also expressed her gratitude on the network transfer.
“Hindi naman lahat pinagbibigyan ng time and ng patience ng mga big boss of the network. So we’re very grateful for that.”
Jasmine wanted to know more about the work environment she would go into. She also praised the harmony of the crew and cast.
“Of course, siyempre you wanna know that the work environment that you’ll be going into, maganda ‘yung harmony ng mga staff, hindi lang sa cast, hindi lang sa mga bosses in the office, but also production sa set, kung paano nila na-e-enjoy ‘yung mga projects din nila. Kasi siyempre ‘yun din ang papasukin ko pagpasok ko dito.”
Jasmine scouted both networks, ABS-CBN and GMA Network. She also shared that her heart learned towards the Kapuso network.
“Nag-scout ako from both networks pa rin naman, and it just so happens my heart really is leaning towards GMA. Nandito na ako, basta ‘yon na ‘yon! I think it says something na nandito ako.”
Jasmine says she is prepared to do any project given to her. She also added that whatever genre would fit her capacity and abilities.
“Whatever comes our way, we’ll see na lang along the way kung ano ba ‘yung babagay at that right moment, and then we’ll plan ahead to see kung ano ba ang pinakabagay na project or genre that also fits my capacity and abilities.”
Jasmine also explained that she would want to work with the veteran thespians and that she wanted to learn from their knowledge and craft.
“All the veterans, all the people who have really proven themselves in the industry, gusto ko silang makatrabaho. Then ‘yung mga may accolades na rin, para makakuha rin ako sa kanila ng knowledge about their craft and the way they practice their craft, ma-apply ko rin sa sarili ko, in my own career. Kasi it’s such a small industry, might as well learn from best of the best.”
