Primetime King Coco Martin once again wields his sword via the 2017 MMFF box office hit “Ang Panday” as the movie debuts on television this weekend, April 21-22, on ABS-CBN TVplus’ KBO, now available to all networks.
“Ang Panday” follows Flavio III (Martin), grandson of the original Panday, who grows up on the streets of Tondo. He gets caught up in gang fights but decides to change after getting released from prison. When the world needs the Panday the most, Flavio takes on the challenge by looking for the Panday, and wields it to defeat the forces of evil.
Martin said in earlier interviews about the movie that he did not set a budget for the film because he wanted to give moviegoers a worthwhile experience, “gusto ko sulit ang tao pagnanood sila.”
