Vice Ganda recently explained the difference between gay and transgender. He is known for his pop performances and fashion choices which involve cross-dressing. During the Miss Q & A segment of It’s Showtime, he asked a contestant whether they identify as gay or transgender.
When the said contestant, Eula Vega, revealed that she identifies as a woman, Vice started to express the facts and views on sexual expression. Vice also noted that he can become an occasional cross-dresser. However, he identifies himself as a gay man, not a transgender woman.
“Hindi ako transgender, I am gay. Magkaiba tayo. So, babae ka talaga. Damang dama mo na babae ka.”
