A video circulated around the social media where Nadine Lustre pushed away the arm of a female fan who was taking a selfie with onscreen partner and boyfriend, James Reid. Female models who were taking a selfie with James spoke up about their side on the matter and hopefully, to stop the negativity from JaDine fans.
In April 17, Tuesday, Darline Paranada, one of the female models involved in the incident, took to Facebook to explain their side. However, she later deleted the lengthy post. She started to tell the story of the said incident and revealed that she attended a birthday party at the end.
“Okay andami ng nagmamarunong at nakikisawsaw sa issue ng James and Nadine na ‘yan, cge magsasalita na ako bilang andun ako at ako naman yung kaibigan ng kaibigan nila Jadine. Anyway, nangyari po ‘yan April 13 sa Revel BGC, birthday party yun ng isang kaibigan namin from the States and birthday din ni Kay Shivaun so andun relatives niya and some friends, so sa sobrang dami namin kumuha pa sila ng extra table so bale magkaharap yung table namin… Andun na kami 12 am pa lang yung mga ibang bisita hindi na namin namamalayan kasi sobrang saya na ng group namin 4 lang ata yung mga guys and the rest mga girls na yung isang picture na lumabas na puro kami babae, isang table pa lang yun hindi pa kasama yung isang table na puro pinsan ni Karen Gonzaga.”
Darline continued that James and Nadine’s group arrived at 3AM and also admitted that she was too busy drinking to learn who arrived.
“Dumating yung group nila JaDine around 3am wala silang mapuwestuhan or makuhang table sa baba… may VIP tables naman sa 2nd floor at that time sobrang puno na sa baba, so may available na tables sa 2nd floor hindi ko alam bakit sila samin nakikipuwesto. Ako bilang may sariling mundo at wala naman ako pakialam kung sino pa nasa harapan ko tuloy lang ang pag-shot ko ng Tequila with my gfs and then biglang may sumigaw ng pangalan ko…”
Darline didn’t know who arrive due to the darkness in the Revel at the palace.
“Nung una hindi ko siya namukhaan dahil madilim sa Revel and medyo lasing na ako so nung paglapit nyia dun ko lng siya nakilala… So habang nagkukuwentuhan kmi, nakilala ng mga gfs ko si JaDine so kinuha nila yung opportunity na magpa-picture sa dalawa since andun nga sila sa table namin.”
