Dane Rhea Sillo recently spoke up about the controversy between her and Joshua Garcia. She is also the mystery girl which Joshua complimented on Instagram. In a recent Tonight with Boy Abunda episode, Joshua teared up as he shared the painful experience of receiving tons of hate.
He also added that the said exchange with Dane caused a huge fight between him and girlfriend Julia Barretto.
When Joshua revealed that he had a fight with Julia, Dane received hate comments after hate comments. She also confessed that he didn’t mean anything bad. In the said tweet, Dane also wrote:
“Hi guys! Chill lang tayo as much as I don’t want to say anything, pero sumobra na kasi yung fake news. I don’t mean anything bad. Binakla ko nga lang yung caption, actually. It’s normal for me and my friends to say “yes?? Bakeeet?”
Dane continued in another tweet that the Facebook conversation wasn’t real. She added that Joshua will remain only for Julia.
“And di totoo yung fb convo sa mga articles. Idk who edited that pero it’s not me. I’m super busy rn and di ko na binabasa yung about dito kasi wala lang sakin. But im sorry sa lahat ng fans Josh is for Juls guys! So chill”
In the screenshots that circulated around social media, Joshua slid into Dane’s DMs and remarked, “Art photo” to one of her swimsuit photos on Instagram.
In the Tonight with Boy Abunda episode, Boy asked about Dane’s identity in Joshua’s life, the young actor admitted that he didn’t know her personally.
Joshua said that he only wanted to compliment her, not flirt with her. He added that he would have had said ‘hi’ first if he wanted to flirt with the unsuspecting girl and that the alleged Facebook messages between him and Dane weren’t real as he never created a conversation with her.
“Wala lang po siya. Wala siya sa buhay ko. Hindi siya naging parte, o kahit ano. Nag-comment ako sa kanya, nag-compliment lang naman ako sa picture, e. Wala namang nangyaring conversation.”
