- Production set to take flight May 15
Final preparations are underway for the groundbreaking production of “Ding, Ang Bato!”, the dance musical based on Mars Ravelo’s Darna.
The Benilde Arts and Culture Cluster, Mars Ravelo Karakters, Inc. and ABS CBN Corporation met with the creatives, cast and crew last April 18 to flesh out the finer points of the production to ensure that it reflects the true essence of the iconic Pinoy superhero.
Rehearsals have likewise been in full swing, and the public got a glimpse of what to expect last April 26 through an exclusive Facebook Live by BBC Worldwide Services On their program Art Hour. The 22 minute feature highlighted the unique character of the production, as they featured all the performers, including the Deaf dancers, who are an integral part of the musical.
