During the first quarter of 2017, all everybody could talk about was Baste Duterte and his relationship with Ellen Adarna and eventually broke up. Ellen moved on and may or may not be in a relationship with John Lloyd Cruz. Ellen and John Lloyd still have yet to confirm or deny rumors regarding their alleged engagement and pregnancy.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Baste stated that he’s already used to the world of politics. He doesn’t feel that his life is in chaos when he had a connection with a showbiz personality.
“Alam ko naman yun kasi lumaki ako sa politics talaga. Tapos yung tatay ko, nung lumaki ako, mayor na siya, nasa politics na. So, yung mga intriga-intriga, wala na sa akin.”
Baste also added that he didn’t want to defend himself. If people are bothered by his actions, just try to be him.
“I do not want to defend myself. Kung masyado ninyo ako pinag-uusapan, kung masyado kayo naiirita o naba-bother sa ginagawa ko, bakit hindi na lang kayo… just try to be me. Gawin niyo na lang para malaman ninyo kung bakit ko ginagawa yung mga ginagawa ko.”
Baste shared his short reaction on Ellen’s private relationship with John Lloyd. He stated that he’s already okay with it if she’s happy with him.
“Kung masaya siya, okey na ako doon. Nangyari lang talaga yun. Ewan ko… Alam mo yung buhay, kapag nangyari na, nangyari na.”
