Director Cathy Garcia Molina is now finalizing the story of KathNiel’s upcoming movie which is what everyone expects to be another box office hit.
According to Karla, Daniel Padilla’s mother, the movie will be filmed abroad. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are excited to be a part of another Cathy Garcia Molina masterpiece. They said that this new movie will feature a new face of KathNiel that fans should look out.
Director Cathy is about to retire in 2019 and the KathNiel movie will be part of her last five films. So, there’s no reason for it not to be epic since we are expecting that the retiring director will pour her heart out in these last five films.
Molina stated that the upcoming KathNiel movie was supposed to be her last film, but ABS-CBN is not ready to let go of her yet. Instead, they gave her five final projects. The last time Molina directed the two young artists was in the 2014 movie “She’s Dating the Gangster.”
The director is responsible for the box office hit of several major romantic comedy films such as One More Chance (2007), A Very Special Love (2008), You Changed My Life (2009), and Miss You Like Crazy (2009) that were played by veteran artists in the industry. Molina successfully raised the standard in romantic comedy films and left a mark in the history of Philippine cinema.
