- She acknowledged how bloggers caught her during a personal struggle.
- She hoped that the said bloggers will give her a chance and properly make it up to them.
Entertainment bloggers recently called out Sofia Andres for her uninterested and rude behavior during press conferences and interviews. She had already posted an Instagram Story apologizing for her attitude.
She formally addressed the said issue in an interview with PUSH.com and Hotspot.
In the said interview, Sofia apologized and declared that she means her apology. She explained that she had a personal issue at that time. Sofia also acknowledged her constant fiddling on her phone during press conference and interviews.
“First of all, I want to say sorry and I mean it if I don’t look like I really do mean it. Kasi, I have to say this, I have my resting bitch face to be honest. And when I don’t smile, parang they think na I’m just really suplada so during that time, I had a personal thing, I had a personal issue so it was really my bad and I’m really, really sorry about it. I was using my phone and they feel like I disrespected them. And I promise that it won’t happen again.”
Sofia continued that entertainment bloggers could forgive her and hope that they don’t think that she has an attitude. Sofia also acknowledged that they may not know her that well and hoped that said bloggers will give her a chance and properly make it up to them.
“I hope that they can forgive me and just don’t make it a big deal because let’s just be positive. I mean I’m just crazy sometimes but ‘wag naman nilang isipin na I’m that bad kasi you know, people here know me for who I am and I appreciate them. Kung sila siguro hindi pa nila ako ganoon kakilala and I hope bigyan nila ako ng chance to introduce myself properly and to make it up to them.”
Sofia shared the lessons she learned during this experience. She learned she needed to focus on press conferences and interviews rather than use her phone. She also insisted that she really did have personal issues during thay time. Sofia ended the interview with one last apology.
“Siguro when it’s work, work. Kasi I had my phone. I’ve been using my phone during the interview so now, I’ve learned. I mean, just be focused kasi during that time, I was really, I had issues. ‘Pag kunwari personal, personal. If it’s like work, then work, gano’n lang. I didn’t expect that they would make it a big deal and then use it against me. ‘Yun lang. I’m sorry.”
