- Ryza Cenon was attacked on her latest motivational IG post.
- The feud was a misconception between her TV character and real-life personality.
- The netizen who attacked the young actress claimed to be not her fan but knew all about Ryza.
One of the highly-anticipated afternoon drama series, GMA Network’s Ika-6 Na Utos, finally concluded last March 17, 2018. The story might be over, but fans still can’t seem to let go of the series’ most hated antagonist.
Ryza Cenon, the main antagonist of the series, is still being judged by her role in the story.
Last March 13, just 4 days before the epic finale, the actress posted an inspirational piece on her Instagram account saying, “Be strong, but not rude. Be kind, but not weak. Be bold, but don’t bully. Be humble, but not shy. Be confident, but not arrogant,” with an added caption, “Be nice to everyone. Wala naman mawawala e.”
Positive vibes turn bad
Even though her good intentions are clear, some netizens are probably still confused in understanding the difference between her role on the television and real life.
In the comments section, one of the netizens reacted to Ryza Cenon’s post saying “Alam mo naman pala yang salita na yan eh! Apply mo kaya sa sarili mo Georgia!” A bold expression of hate on the character she was playing, Georgia.
Ryza did not react to this comment and probably knew this was just a joke. However, another Instagram user seconded with rather serious intentions. The user @lizzo2 says, “I agree… wala yang kaluluwa… who know in real ganyan sya… you’ll never know GEORGIA, KABIT NA BALIW!!!!”
This time, Ryza decided not to let this pass and replied by requoting his post, “BE BOLD, BUT DON’T BULLY. BE CONFIDENT, BUT NOT ARROGANT,” and added, “Paki unfollow na lang mahirap makausap sa mga sarado ang utak kagaya mo. #tangalangangpeg”
Hate the character. Respect the actress.
The reply from Ryza resulted in nothing but a heated conversation. The frustrated Instagram user even said that she is not a fan Ryza Cenon.
She also added that she is from the free country of Canada and Ryza has no right to tell her what to do. Which ultimately makes no sense because the said netizen was so updated with Ryza’s Instagram account.
Ryza ended the conversation by reminding the netizen, “Yung kausap mo wala sa Canada nasa Pilipinas kasi ko. Diyan ka sa Canada magpaka bossy wag dito sa Pilipinas.”
This leads back to the Ryza’s 2017 Instagram post during the peak of her career quoting, “Hate the character. Respect the actress.”
