- Rhian Ramos realized the true essence of acting
- She described her scene with Piolo Pascual in the indie film ‘Silong’ as daring
- She fears to have a slapping scene with Lovi Poe
Rhian Ramos is already four years in the showbiz industry before she realized that she loves acting, and she wants it to be realistic.
According to Rhian, she now realized the true meaning of acting due to her current role in The One That Got Away in GMA 7. The young actress described acting as a kind of craft, “It’s not just playing pretend, you really have to feel it in your heart, you have to feel it’s real,” she explained.
She said that acting is more than just a job. She really has to understand her character and relate it in real life for it to be realistic, and that the viewers can relate. She even sighted her role in TOTGA as Zoe saying that she plays the character not just as Zoe, but she is everyone’s Zoe out there.
When she was asked if she’s ready for a daring love scene, she recalls a past experience. Rhian Ramos had the chance to work with the veteran actor and heartthrob Piolo Pascual in the indie film ‘Silong.’ She said that her scene with the ABS-CBN actor was already daring for her. Truth to be told, Piolo did have a partial butt exposure in the film.
Apparently, Rhian’s hunger for realistic scenes has its limit. It seems that she is not yet ready to take another slapping scene. She was slapped twice by Jean Garcia in their past projects Stairway to Heaven and Ilumina.
In the case of TOTGA, there is no news of upcoming slapping scenes yet according to her. If she must pick who she wants to have a slapping scene with, it’s definitely not Lovi Poe. “Ayoko, ayokong ma-experience,” she cried, “Payat si Lovi pero muscle-muscle ‘yan.”
She can only hope that Mark Sicat Dela Cruz and Rado Peru, directors of TOTGA, will not grant her greatest fear.
