It’s been years since we saw Piolo Pascual in a primetime series, but the wait is over. He is back with a new primetime series in ABS-CBN!
Piolo Pascual is currently part of Home Sweetie Home weekly sitcom to fill in the gap of the controversial disappearance of John Lloyd Cruz. As we all know, John Lloyd is now the father of Ellen Adarna’s child and somehow disappeared from the sitcom without a proper goodbye.
The new primetime series Piolo will be appearing to is the ‘Since I Found You’ series. He will be playing the lead role. This is also the first time we’ll be seeing Piolo and Arci Muñoz working together as a loveteam. They will be joined by co-star JC de Vera, Alessandra de Rossi, and Empoy Marquez.
The presence of Alessandra and Empoy is the result of their hit indie film ‘Kita Kita’ which was produced by Piolo Pascual. This might be the right time for ABS-CBN to take advantage of the unexpected chemistry between the two, and fans will surely fix their eyes on them.
Based on the ‘Since I Found You’ trailer, the series will have a lot of love triangles in a single office. The timing is impeccable to shift the viewers’ emotions to the positive side since it will be replacing the tragic, suspenseful, and heartbreaking series – The Good Son.
The Good Son is set to end on mid-April 2018. We expected this series to be short because the story is literally circling around the question “Who killed the father?” Although short, The Good Son is not a disappointment. As the story concludes, there have been several sudden turns of events where the expected culprits are no longer suspects of the crime. The viewers are still clueless about whoever the real murderer is.
Since I Found You will air on ABS-CBN primetime in April 2018.
