Beauty queen and now rising movie actress Pia Wurtzbach excitedly greeted the media during her press conference for her upcoming rom-com movie under Star Cinema with actor Gerald Anderson.
On a Sunday afternoon, Pia shared her enthusiasm for another big break entrusted to her by the management.
“My Perfect You” is directed by renowned director Cathy Garcia Molina and was shot in a remote and picturesque island in Zambales. Pia will play the role of Abi, the cheerful owner of the resort Burn (Anderson) chooses to get away to. This movie shall mark the beauty queen’s first-ever romantic headline movie.
During the bloggers’ conference, Pia spoke highly of her current career in ABS-CBN. She recently starred in the now highest grossing film in the country, “Revengers Squad” with “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda and young actor Daniel Padilla.
“PiCe?”
When asked if she could consider a possible pairing with Vice Ganda, Pia didn’t shrug the idea but instead considered it.
“Game ako, oo naman!” she exclaimed. “If they offer another project na love team ko si Vice, payag ako siyempre. Love ko si Vice, sobra.”
Watch out for Pia’s ground-breaking performance in cinemas nationwide starting March 14.
