In an interview with PEP.ph, Kapamilya love team of McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson was asked about the alleged confrontation of their “The Good Son” co-stars John Estrada and Mylene Dizon.
According to them, they had no idea about the issue circulating online.
“Wala kaming idea, nabigla din kami na may ganung issue. Siguro nasa istorya naman talaga na ganun talaga ang mangyayari. Wala sigurong koneksiyon dun,” McCoy answered.
“Ako, wala akong alam at all. Ngayon ko lang narinig ‘yan,” Elisse added.
As per reports, John and Mylene had a misunderstanding that resulted to an intense confrontation that caused the production team to kill John’s character in the story.
Meanwhile, McCoy and Elisse are both happy on the positive feedback and consistent high rating of their show.
“Habang tumatagal, nagugustuhan nila yung episodes. Masaya na mapabilang sa isang proyekto tulad nito,” Elisse proudly said.
“Worth it lahat ng pagod, hirap, puyat, grabe talaga! Bawat eksena talaga, hindi madali, mabigat lahat talaga. Lalo na yung mga susunod na eksena, mas matindi,” McCoy added.
Despite their all-star cast, McCoy and Elisse said their characters are all given a chance to stand out in the story.
“Bawat karakter, may sariling pinanggalingan, so nasa iyo na lang kung paano mo isa-shine yun, kung paano mo papalalimin,” McCoy said.
“Bawat artista, binibigyan ng kanya-kanyang spotlight,” Elisse continued.
