“I’ve been reading some negative posts from people. Bashing and attacking. I just want to say na, pwede naman kayo di maniwala sa mga ibang tao pero di nyo kailangan mambastos,” Marvin started his Twitter thread.
According to him, its okay to have different opinions from other people but bashing someone will not deliver anything good.
“Pwede kayo magkaroon ng strong or even opposing opinion and views about other things but dont curse or be evil on raising your concerns and insights. Wag please. Pagsisihan nyo yan,” he continued.
The “Kambal, Karibal” actor called out those troll accounts who are hiding their real identity in social media. Usually, these accounts were made to bash someone in social media.
“You may be using an account na di ka nakikilala kaya mas matapang ka maging masama pero you are damaging yourself, your soul. Your thoughts become your words, your words into action. And your action will define your character,” he thoughtfully wrote.
The former matinee idol shared one rule to the bashers online, “My simple rules: kung hindi mo ikababait, ikapoppgi ( o ikagaganda) at ikayayaman, wag na patulan…”
At the last part of his series of Twitter posts, Marvin shared his message to all the “righteous and entitled human beings.”
“Don’t blame other people for disappointing you. Blame yourself for expecting way too much from them,” he ended his posts with a quote.
