- ‘Queen of All Media’ Kris Aquino will start shooting her horror movie produced by internet TV service provider iFlix.
- The 47-year old actress-TV host is excited to be back on the big screen.
In an interview with PUSH.com, ‘Queen of All Media’ Kris Aquino is set to make her movie comeback via iFlix horror film.
The 47-year old actress is excited to work with Direk Adolf Alix Jr. who will helm the said movie.
“I’m so excited because si Adolf Alix is the one I’m working with. I love his work. Ni-research ko ‘yung mga indie movies niya, nanood din ako talaga. And the fact that we’re doing a horror together,” she said.
“My cinematographer there is Neil Daza, who has done almost all my Chito Roño horror films. So, it’s a new breed of a director with the DOP (director of photography) who has done my biggest hits, super na-excite talaga ako,” she added.
According to Kris, the film will be different from her past horror films she did.
“This one is a very unique concept. That’s why I said yes to it, and nae-excite ako dito. There’s less pressure and because parang I’m their first na co-producer nila ng movie. This focuses on the emerging market, so nakakatuwa iyon,” she shared.
Aside from her horror film, Kris will also appear on the Hollywood movie “Crazy Rich Asians” which will be released on August 17 this year.
“OMG. August pa naman, so sabi ko, mga May natin paghandaan. Nae-excite lang ako kasi the fact na sinabi na, please block your schedule for these dates, happy di ba?” she smilingly shared.
The said international film is based on a novel by Kevin Kwan of the same title. The project is top-billed by Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh.
