Veteran journalist and ABS-CBN broadcaster Karen Davila lambasted the Department of Justice for making a mockery of the Philippine justice system.
In a series of tweets, the Kapamilya broadcaster slammed DOJ for its series of unfathomable decisions favoring drug lords and pork barrel scam mastermind.
“The DOJ is making a mockery of us all #justiceinph”, Davila tweeted.
The tweet was in response to the news about DOJ’s resolution placing pork barrel scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles on provisional witness protection program.
On February 27, this year, the Department of Justice through Senior Asst. State Prosecutor Ma. Nerissa Molina-Carpio issued a certification placing Janet Lim-Napoles on provisional witness protection program.
In reaction to that Karen also said that that is not the kind of Justice Department the Filipino people deserve.
“This is NOT the kind of Justice Department the Filipino people deserve. What is happening?!”, she said.
Aside from the Napoles issue, Karen also called out the DOJ for clearing self-confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa from his drug charges.
“WHAT is with the DOJ?!?! First, they clear self confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa and Peter Lim and then now… Janet Lim Napoles covered by the Witness Protection Program?!”, wrote Karen.
