One of the longest-running prime-time show in ABS-CBN is far from the conclusion. In fact, they even introduced new characters to prolong the story.
The March 20 episode of “Ang Probinsyano” showed another set of faces including Jessy Mendiola who appeared as a medical doctor that tended the wounds of Cardo’s allies.
She is the fifth new character to join the series this month following the appearance of Mark Anthony Fernandez, Dawn Zulueta, Rowell Santiago, and Edu Manzano.
Cardo’s rebel group was attacked by Alakdan after their hideout has been discovered. The group suffered a significant loss and now trying to figure out their next step on how to survive and get revenge. Jessy was seen tending to the wounded men. She is yet to play a scene with Coco Martin. It is yet unclear if Jessy will stay long in the series.
Ang Probinsyano has already welcomed countless artists since its first episode in 2015.
They are known to feature legendary action stars and supporting artists that commemorates the classic Filipino action movies.
Other than being a tribute to the action star Fernando Poe Jr., it also showcases the dignity and pride of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, as well as revealing the real situation and problems the country is facing today.
These are probably the main reasons why the TV series continue to be on top for three consecutive years.
