- Jericho Rosales expressed his poetic thoughts on heavy traffic and pollution in Metro Manila.
- He called out people who bask in their own road rage.
- He appeals that people should lessen their car use.
Jericho Rosales took to Facebook to express his annoyance regarding the heavy traffic in Metro Manila. He acknowledged some people who would shout at each other on the streets.
He continued his complaint that the air pollution continues to arise in the city.
In the said poetic Facebook post, Jericho also asked why did it get to this. He wrote that the road rage sometimes may end in an unfortunate event. He also added that having a car remains convenient to achieve. This will lead to people buying a car, driving it down the road, then, adding to more cars in the heavy traffic. He called out people like such that would rather have a high-status symbol rather than add to the much-wanted peace.
Jericho continued that the air pollution still arises. Although the country may be gaining economically it continued deteriorating environmentally. Jericho also shared how back then, people from the provinces wanted to go to Manila. Nowadays, he thinks that the rural places will be more of a solace.
Jericho ended his lengthy post with questions and ideas. He also wondered what remains of the Filipinos’ problems and why are we like this. He added hashtags which encouraged many to lessen car and motorcycle use.
