- Versatile actor Geoff Eigemann revealed that he set aside a teleserye offer of ABS-CBN.
- The 32-year old actor is happy working with “Grazilda” co-star Glaiza de Castro.
GMA Network’s upcoming revenge-drama series “Contessa” will feature the versatile actor Geoff Eigenmann as one of the lead cast. The 32-year old actor revealed on his interview that ABS-CBN offered him a teleserye however he set aside the said show to join the Kapuso drama.
“May ini-offer sa akin sa Channel 2 na project pero medyo matagal pa ang preparation nila tamang-tamang dumating naman itong offer ng GMA at tinanggap namin ng management ko,” he shared.
Geoff further said that he is happy to work with her “Grazilda” co-star Galiza de Castro after almost eight years. He will play the role of Gabriel, who is the brother of the Glaiza’s husband.
“I’m thankful na we will work again together ni Glaiza de Castro sa Contessa. I will play the role of Gabriel Caballero, a self-made man and successful OFW pero babalik ako ng bansa nang malaman kong pinatay ang kapatid kong si Marco (Mark Herras) na asawa ni Bea (Glaiza),” he said.
Meanwhile, Geoff was also asked his experience as a first-time dad to his daughter Arabella Simone with singer girlfriend Maya. He further shared that they already talked about marriage but they need to prepare for the right time.
“I won’t change her with anything in this world. I’m feeling old na having a baby now that I will turn 35 na on March 23. But happy kami ni Maya, kontento sa nangyari sa amin.
“Napag-uusapan na namin ang kasal, pero hindi pa ngayon. Kailangan naming paghandaan dahil sa ngayon nasa period pa kami ng adjustments, may mga pinagdadaanan pa rin kami pero nagkakaintindihan kami sa isa’t isa,” he stated.
How is Geoff as a dad?
“Marunong na akong magpalit ng diaper, noong nasa hospital pa kami, nagpaturo pa ako sa nurse kung paano magpalit ng diaper. Nagbi-breast feed si Maya at gusto naming after a year pa siya bumalik sa singing,” he ended.
