- Nora Aunor will return in Philippine television this Lenten Season
- She will be a part of Eat Bulaga’s Lenten Special titled ‘A Daughter’s Love’
The rumor about Nora Aunor’s return to television is finally confirmed by a post from Eat Bulaga’s Instagram Account.
Nora Aunor, labeled as Superstar and one of the best drama actress in the history of Philippine Cinema, will once again perform an inspirational piece this Lenten Season as part of Eat Bulaga’s annual tradition featuring heartwarming Lenten Specials.
Nora Aunor on ‘A Daughter’s Love’
The piece is titled ‘A Daughter’s Love’ to be starred together with GMA Network’s child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon. There is no doubt that this will be another epic performance from the veteran actress, and there is no better time for us to witness her come back but this Holy Week.
Nora Aunor disappeared in television not because she was no longer popular. It is known in the past that she had some serious attitude problems at work. She also received several complaints about her unprofessionalism, as well as not showing up on scheduled time or leaving on short breaks. We can only hope that the actress will return to set things right this time.
Eat Bulaga Lenten Special
Eat Bulaga has lined up several stories for this year’s Lenten Special. The noontime show will feature ‘My Carinderia Girl’ starred by Ruby Rodriguez and Kenneth Earl Medrano.
Aldub will be appearing on different projects this time. Alden Richards, together with Tirso Cruz III, Joey de Leon at Tito Sotto will appear in ‘Haligi ng Pangarap.’ While Main Mendoza and Vic Sotto will have a different piece entitled ‘Taray ni Tatay.’
A family drama titled ‘Pamilya’ will also touch the hearts of Filipinos this Holy Week to be starred by Ryan Agoncillo, Paolo Ballesteros at Ronaldo Valdez. The comedic duo Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo will fill the atmosphere with a variety of emotions from laughter to heartbreak with their very own ‘Hating Kapatid’ story.
