- Former senator Bong Revilla recounted his days since he was detained four years ago.
- The 51-year-old actor-politician still believes that justice will be served.
Last March 8, former Senator Bong Revilla got sentimental as his father Ramon Revilla Sr., celebrated his 91st birthday.
The 51-year old actor-turned-politician shared that he is being detained for 1, 357 days since June 20, 2014.
Bong shared a message on his Facebook account about his sentiments after more than 1, 300 days in PNP Custodial Center ng Camp Crame.
Bong started his long Facebook post.
Despite this, Bong still believes in the justice system even he is not sure when he will be free from his legal case.
“I do not deserve to be incarcerated, gayunpaman, buo ang tiwala ko sa sistema kaya’t mula’t sapul ay sumailalim ako rito.
This will never weaken my resolve to fight for the truth and what is right. I am steadfast in my commitment to our kababayans,” he continued.
On the latter part of his post, Bong thanked everyone who always prays for him throughout the years.
“Naniniwala pa rin ako sa hustisya. I trust that the truth will prevail and that I will be vindicated.
Please continue to pray for me.
