Amid the clamor that he will run for Senator in the upcoming elections, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte and family. He further explained that his candidacy would be up to the decision of the President.
On his Facebook post, Bong Go was humbled by the endorsement of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to run for the next elections.
“I am humbled by the endorsement of our beloved City Mayor Inday Sara. The Dutertes, the Father, the Daughter, are my inspiration and example of being a true public servant,” he started his long post.
Bong Go acknowledged his statement before that he will not run for public service however, it seems that his decision has changed.
According to him, President Duterte gave him the chance to serve the country. He further said that he will always be grateful for the Duterte family for the trust they gave him.
