- Bianca Umali gears up for her Grand 18th Birthday Celebration on Saturday

Though her birthday was last March 2, the Kapuso Network Star—Bianca Umali of the ‘Kambal Karibal’ series will have a grand celebration of her 18th birthday on Saturday, March 17 at the EDSA Shangri-La.
As someone who grew up in the entertainment industry and being orphaned as her parents died; She is raised by her paternal grandmother.
Being 18, she hasn’t given much thought about it and tries to live one day at a time. She has no big plans or anything and is even quick to point that even of she is already a debutante, she still feels that it doesn’t give her the license to fast track her life. She still believes that she might be ready to take on more serious and mature roles, still she puts certain limitations to herself.
For her, what she realized about life is that, “It is never going to be easy. The odds will not always be in your favor. You are always going to fail. And that’s how we knew it.
“Ako, I grew up failing and that’s what made me who I am today. Life is amazing but it’s not easy. We don’t get anything that easily.”
Apart from being busy with her current TV series, opposite her loveteam—Miguel Tanfelix (who will also be part of her 18 Roses), she was hailed as World Vision Youth Ambassador for Education in 2017.
During her grand celebration of being a debutante, she will be donning a gown designed by a Dubai-based Filipino designer named Fay Reyes. She stressed that the gown is quite intricate and difficult to put it together here in the country. She refuses to give any details about the gown, “I want it to be a big surprise kasi talagang binigay ko na lahat ng efforts ko into it,”
