After almost three years, Kapuso actress Camille Prats is set to make her teleserye comeback via daytime TV series “Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw.”
The 32-year old actress will play the role of a single mom and how she gives herself another chance to fall in love again.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Camille reacted on the possible competition with Jodi Sta. Maria as her show will air against the Kapamilya series “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso.” According to her, TV ratings competition will always be there but they will take it as a friendly game.
Of course, the competition will always be there, but it’s a healthy competition.
Camille assured that she and Jodi are good friends so there is nothing personal competition between them. In fact, the “MARS” host admires the Kapamilya actress for her depth as an actress and a woman.
“I’m a big fan of her and I like how… she’s also a Christian. Yung mga messages niya ay very uplifting. Sabi ko nga, it’s what I like in a person, yung beliefs niya, yun mga bagay na I admire about her.
In her series, Camille will team up with Neil Ryan Sese, who also played as a single parent. The show also features the young love team of Ayra Mariano and Bruno Gabriel as their daughter and son, respectively.
In terms of storyline, Camille said that this will be different from other rom-com series that viewers could relate easily to every character.
Sana mahalin nila ito because of its rawness, how they can really relate in the story. Actually, halos lahat naman ngayon is moving towards the love angle. But I think the Philippines needs more love and comedy more than anything else,” she continued.
“Gusto natin ng mas magaan at mas nakakatawang buhay araw-araw,” she ended.
