- Atom Araullo leads McDonald’s documentary video “Baby Bakwit” for Marawi
- His career as a journalist and actor is looking up
- Atom is not yet ready to talk or entertain love life
Atom Araullo’s new heartwarming video in McDonald’s showcasing the incredible story of mothers who gave birth in the middle of the tragic war in Marawi. The video is titled ‘Baby Bakwits.’
It is a documentary-like where they feature the brave mothers in the time of war. Atom Araullo is the perfect candidate to represent McDo and the video, being a journalist. Atom also had a commercial with McDonald’s together with his father.
The parents who held on to life despite being surrounded by fear and death are an inspiration to everyone. According to Atom, these parents did everything in their power to survive and did not lose hope for the sake of their children.
There is no McDonald’s in Marawi, but the fast-food chain will be giving its full support for all the victims of war, especially the evacuees. McDonald’s is planning to sponsor in building facilities for children such as Daycare Centers, as well as provide livelihood to the parents.
Things are looking up for Atom’s career as a TV personality and journalist. He is currently hosting a travel show in AXN Asia’s ‘Adventure Your Way.’ He is also seen in several TV commercials, plus became a lead-actor in the movie ‘Citizen Jake’ directed by Mike de Leon.

Atom is not certain if there will be a commercial release for his new movie. He is hoping that many people will see it, but Mike de Leon doesn’t want to submit it to MTRCB. The reason is that Mike doesn’t want MTRCB to mess with his hard work by deleting scenes.
Citizen Jake runs around the story of a journalist and blogger who is in conflict with his political family. It premiered on March 10 at Cine Adarna and was critically judged regarding its open criticism against the Duterte Administration. Probably the main reason why they are having second thoughts on having it approved by MTRCB.
They are looking at other ways to distribute the movie. Atom also open to the idea of the movie ‘Citizen Jake’ not to be shown in cinemas. “As long as more people get to see it, I’m all for it,” he said.
When asked about his love life, he didn’t hesitate to answer, “Distracting lang ‘yan. Huwag nating pag-usapan. It’s not important.” Only letting people know that he is currently more focused on his career than looking for a relationship.
