ABS-CBN wins National TV Ratings in February 2018

  • ABS-CBN leads all programming blocks for February 2018.

The Kapamilya network is still the Filipino viewers’ choice for the month of February 2018.

Based on Kantar Media’s overall average TV ratings, ABS-CBN beats GMA Network in February.

ABS-CBN posted an average of 46.0% national TV ratings, 13% higher than GMA Network’s average of 33%.

Leading the pack forABS-CBN is ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ which scored an average of 41.2% for February 2018.

Other Kapamilya shows which buoyed ABS-CBN’s ratings win for February are “Pilipinas Got Talent” with 39.6%, ‘MMK’ with 33.9%, ‘TV Patrol’ with 32.2% and ‘La Luna Sangre’ which posted a ratings of 31.7%.

 

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s overall ratings win is represented by its individual won in respective geographical areas.

ABS-CBN beats GMA Network in all geographic areas which are covered by Kantar’s ratings panels. The Kapamilya network won in Metro Manila by 12%, 40% vs 28%. Total Balanced Luzon also went to ABS-CBN, 42% vs 35%. Visayas a known ABS-CBN territory gave the highest lead of 29%, 56% vs 27%. And Mindanao with 21% gap, 52% vs 31%.

But not only did ABS-CBN won in every single geographic area, the Kapamilya network also won every programming blocks. Morning programming went to ABS-CBN by 7%, 39% vs 32%. The highly contested noontime block also favored ABS-CBN, 44% vs 36%. ABS-CBN also won the afternoon programming block with 42% vs 39% ratings.

And the most important primetime block also gave ABS-CBN the biggest win at 51% vs 31%.
