Steve Dailisan recently bid goodbye from GMA News and Public Affairs. He also made the announcement official with a recent Facebook post published on February 25, Sunday.
In the said post, he wrote that he felt blessed on being part of the said network. Steve added something on his post which reminded us all why he remains one of the Most Outstanding News Correspondent.
The said post read:
“Allow me to thank you all for making me realize the dream of becoming a Broadcast Journalist.
I am beyond blessed to have been part of an award winning news organization. Each day has been a memorable and learning experience. 
Sa lahat ng inspirasyon at daan para ako matuto sa industriyang ito, Maraming salamat! 
Hangang sa muli at sa huling pagkakataon, mula sa tahanan ng katotohanan, Ako po si Steeeeeve Dailisan.
Officially signing off.”
Steve will also remain best known for introducing himself as Steeeeeve Dailisan in every report. When Twitter Philippines officially announced the 280 characters per tweet, his response went viral. He also poked fun at his sign-off introduction in reports.
