In an interview with PEP.Ph of Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez, she talked about her dreams of becoming beauty queen someday. The 21-year old actress revealed that people are pushing her to try her luck on “Binibining Pilipinas” and “Miss World Philippines.”
According to Sanya, she is not still ready to join a national pageant as of now, “Meron pa ngang tina-tag ako noon about sa screening ng Binibining Pilipinas. Pero feeling ko kasi, hindi pa ako ready, hindi ko pa ramdam na dapat na akong mag-join. Siguro pag 24 or 25 na ako, baka handang-handa na ako mag-join physically and emotionally,” she said.
“Gusto ko kasi na pag sumali ako, yung handang-handa na ako at gustung-gusto ko na,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sanya wants to focus first on her acting career as an actress.
“Ngayon kasi, mas gusto ko munang bigyan ng oras yung showbiz career ko. One at a time, career muna, and then yung dream ko na maging title holder ng isang beauty pageant,” she stated.
On the other hand, Sanya thanked everyone who supported her series “Haplos” that is now down in its finale week. She will also miss her co-actors, staff and the director of the said show.
“Yung pagiging close namin, ng lahat… yung bonding naming mga artista, mga staff, crew. Sobrang babait, lalo na ni Direk [Gil Tejada Jr.], sobrang haba ng pasensiya,” she shared.
