Kapamilya actor Elmo Magalona is set to star on the upcoming youth-oriented movie “Walwal.” However, it seems that his love team partner is out of the picture.
Directed by Joey Reyes, the movie will be the new version of the 1994 iconic barkada film “Pare Ko.”
In one of his interview, Elmo expressed his excitement about his new project. “It’s an honor! Joey Reyes is one of the most respected directors. Naka-work na rin siya si Papa before. Super excited to shoot at I’m sure marami akong matututunan,” he said.
“Siyempre I wish na makasama ko rin dito si Janella pero ‘yun nga eh kasi hindi siya mag-focus sa love kaya kami magkakasama rito,” Elmo answered when asked about what he feels that he will not be working with Janella in this film.
On the other hand, Elmo resisted to give comment about the issue that involved Janella’s mother, Jenine Desiderio.
“Hala! Ako, super blessed lang ako with the movies. Hindi ‘yun ang iniisip ko. Ako naman, ‘pag may blessings sa life mo, parang nagiging nitpicker ka. Like example, nanalo ka ng lotto, then nasira ang gulong mo. Kung iisipin ko ‘yung nasira kong gulong parang kinakalimutan ko ‘yung blessing ni God,” he said.
He ended by saying that he is blessed with project, “It’s like I’m being blessed with this fact at maraming nakaka-appreciate naman sa Fairy Tail so kung parang ilalagay ko ‘yung thought ko sa ibang bagay, parang nini-neglect ko ‘yung blessing na binigay sa akin. I just don’t want to say anything about it anymore. Just count your blessings!”
