Michelle shared how they became close during the launch of the Star Magic Circle 2013. She, then, continued to express that their connection never faltered. She also admitted that Liza’s attitude and behaviors.
“Since kasi ‘yung launch naming Star Magic Circle 2013, naging close na kami nun ever since. Hindi na nag-stop ‘yung connection naming dalawa ni Hopie. So, ‘yung change kay Hopie, I think sa personality niya wala talaga nag-change. She’s very humble pa rin, down-to-earth.”
Michelle added that Liza remains rooted to the ground. She also shared that Liza became a stronger woman. However, Michelle noted that Liza never developed a negative trait.
Kilala pa din niya lahat ng tao nasa paligid niya. Pero, siguro ang nagbago kay Hopie ngayon, mas strong woman siya, mas responsible siya, mas mature siya mag-isip. ‘Yun yung changes siguro kay Hopie in a positive way. Pero, I think, sa negative talaga, wala, eh. Kasi parang she’s still the same Hopie na nakilala ko noon. I mean, lahat siguro ng nakakakilala kay Hopie, ‘yun talaga ‘yung masasabi sa kanya.”
When Michelle received a question whether she has also changed, she continued to answer that she became more mature. She additionally said that she developed a responsible mindset. She added that since she turned twenty, she had to grow in a more positive way.
“Siguro, mas iba din ‘yung thinking ko ngayon. Like kasi, siyempre, tumatanda ako. So mas nagiging mature ako mag-isip. Mas kailangan mas responsible ako mag-isip. And since, ‘yun nga, twenty na ako, siyempre kailangan talaga ‘yung kilos ko and ‘yung paano makisama sa tao and ‘yung mga ginagawa ko dapat mas better mas okay kaysa sa mga previous years.”
Michelle shared how she hangs out with Liza. Just like Liza, she loves staying in somewhere quiet.
“Nagkikita kami… Actually, ‘di kami masyado ma-bonding talaga na every day, laging kita, every week. Pero ‘yun nga, kasi pareho kami, eh. Ako kasi, di din ako ma-labas. Si Hopie din, hindi din siya yung laging pasyal pasyal dito, punta kung saan saan. Pareho kami ‘yung parang okay na nasa bahay lang kami, okay na tahimik lang.”
Michelle further continued to define her friendship with Liza. She also added that they may not see each other that often, nothing changes between them.
“Pero for me kasi, ‘yun nga, hindi naman talaga dun naba-base ‘yung friendship. Na ‘yung lagi kayong nagkikita, laging kayong nasa labas. ‘Yung talagang nandyan kayo for each other na kapag kailangan niyo isa’t isa, nandyaan… Sa amin kasi ni Hopie… Parang matagal kaming ‘di nagkikita or ‘di kami masyadong nagbobonding, ‘pag nagsama kami ulit parang andun pa din yung connection na: ‘Ay, kami ‘to pag magkasama kami.’ Walang bago, walang awkwardness.”
