Viva Artists Agency officially revealed singer-songwriter, Marion Aunor, as their new contract artist. According to Marion herself, her farewell from her former management team, Star Magic and Star Music, went well.
“Yung sa Star Magic po tapos na po yung contract ko doon. And they say na I’m always welcome to come back and everything. Okay naman po. With Star Music naman po I wrote the song of Leila Alcasid and it’s coming out very soon and of course I’m open naman working them.”
However, Marion hasn’t been heard too much. She had also been busy writing songs for Star Music and the international label, Tarsier records. In Marion’s signing event, she will be looking forward to exhibiting herself as a singer.
“Yun nga what I’m hoping to do with Viva, to put the face to the song and to revive my career locally.”
Viva Artists Agency also welcomed Marion in an Instagram post.

The Viva Management already gave her a challenge for her latest single.
“My latest single is coming out this is my very first Tagalog song that I wrote kasi na-challenge ako ni Boss Vic Del Rosario kasi sabi niya eventually kailangan ko din magsulat ng Tagalog songs so ginawa ko na agad.”
Aside from this, Marion gave out a statement about people comparing her with Moira Dela Torre.
“I don’t know. Parang feeling ko naman magka-iba naman yung sound namin. Although she is a friend of mine and I’m so proud of what she accomplished right now. I guess tignan nalang ng tao yung mga bagong songs na lalabas sa akin and mga tao na siguro ang bahala kung similar ba or hindi. I’m just doing my own thing and she’s doing her own thing.”
