In an episode of “Super Sireyna” segment of the longest running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!,” Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza was amazed upon seeing her look-alike.
A 21-year old transgender woman named Mari Jean Montecillo brought amusement to everyone when she introduced herself as the “Dubsmash Queen.”
“Meron, e… sa bangs, saka sa bibig,” Maine answered when Pia Guanio and Allan K asked about her reaction.
According to Mari Jean, she was imitating Miss World 2013 Megan Young before until a kid told her that she looks like the Kapuso star.
“The little child called me, ‘Hey, you are Maine Mendoza!’ And then I looked in the mirror, yes! It seems I am Maine Mendoza,” she shared.
The said candidate was the first one who used Maine as her screen name in the biggest pageant for transgender women in national TV. She defeated the other two candidates, who are imitating Erich Gonzales and Marian Rivera.
