It was a two-way win for GMA Network as its ending teledrama and its successor both won against their common rival.
Kris Bernal’s “Impostora” finale and Megan Young’s “The Stepdaughters” pilot both scored a win over their rival Kapamilya Gold teleserye “Asintado”.
“Impostora” which had its final episode on Friday, February 9 posted a rating of 7.4%, 3.2% higher than “Asintado’s” 4.2%. The Kris Bernal starrer teledrama ran for eight months before its final episode last Friday.
Meanwhile, “Impostora’s” successor “The Stepdaughters” continued its winning streak and beat “Asintado”.
On its pilot episode Monday, February 12, “The Stepdaughters” managed to get ahead of “Asintado” by 1.7%, 6.5% vs 4.8%
