- Dingdong Dantes will have another film under Star Cinema in 2018.
- He may be a Kapuso by contract, but his heart belongs to ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema.

It looks like Dingdong Dantes is ready again to do another movie with ABS-CBN’s movie arm Star Cinema. He recently met with Star Cinema Managing Director Olivia Lamasan on February 8, Thursday.
His last project with the movie outfit, Seven Sundays, earned more than P271 million worldwide according to Star Cinema. The film also stars Ronaldo Valdez, Aga Muhlach, Cristine Reyes and Enrique Gil.
If this movie will push through this year, this will serve as Dindong’s seventh movie project with Star Cinema.
Olivia previously headed Star Cinema’s creative department.
She also directed films such as Madrasta, Milan, Got to Believe, In the Name of Love, The Mistress, Starting Over Again and the most recent, Barcelona: A Love Untold.
Star Ad Prom head Mico del Rosario recently posted a photo of the Star Cinema group with Dingdong with the caption:
“Yay!! working with @dongdantes AGAIN soon!!”
