This coming January 29, 2018, GMA Network will test the star power of the Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid on his upcoming series “Sherlock Jr.” The 20-year old award-winning actor will compete head-to-head with the Philippine Primetime King, Coco Martin.
In the said teleserye, Ruru will be playing a young and clever investigative reporter, who has a pet dog named Serena. He will be paired with his love team Gabbi Garcia and Janine Gutierrez will play a special role as his girlfriend.
Prior to this, GMA Network already aired nine teleseryes as rivals to the Kapamilya hit teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” namely “Once Upon A Kiss,” “Little Nanay,” Poor Senorita,” “Marimar,” Let The Love Begin,” “Encantadia,” Mulawin VS. Ravena,” “Alyas Robin Hood 1 & 2,” and “Super Ma’am.”
Meanwhile, “Sherlock Jr.” will feature Gabbi Garcia, Janine Gutierrez, Andre Paras, Alyana Asistio, Matt Evans, Tonton Gutierrez, Rochelle Barrameda, Kate Valdez, Roi Vinzon, Sharmaine Arnaiz and Ms. Ai Ai delas Alas.
