Jodi Sta. Maria plays a dual character on her upcoming television show titled “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso.” Since she plays two characters at the same time, there will probably be two leading men in the series.
The said show will be Jodi’s reunion project with Richard Yap and her first time working with Robin Padilla.
Jodi and Richard already starred together in the hit 2012 daytime television drama “Be Careful With My Heart” and 2016 romantic-comedy film “The Achy Breaky Hearts” with Ian Veneracion. The title also hints a love triangle between Richard, Jodi and Robin.
In a recent interview with Jodi, she shared about the possibility of working with Robin.
“Kung matutuloy man ‘yan, siyempre sobrang excited ako. Sino ba naman ang ayaw makatrabaho ang isang Robin Padilla, hindi ba?”
2013 “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” was Robin’s last television series. He portrayed a police inspector who accidentally met two sisters after a kidnapping incident. However, he became close to the two sisters that has a connection to a crime that his father became involved in despite his innocence.
