In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Ruru Madrid admitted that he loves children. However, he would want to get married first before having a child. He also feels confident that he wouldn’t get a woman pregnant outside marriage.
In the said interview, Ruru shared that children make him feel lighter. Nevertheless, at this point in his life, he would rather have a dog first rather than a child.
“Kung ako lang papapiliin, gusto ko magkaanak na talaga. Sobrang hilig ko sa bata. Sobrang iba ako sa bata. Sila yung nagpapagaan lagi ng loob ko. Pero sabi ko, ngayon na nagkaroon ako ng show na Sherlock Jr. at may katrabaho akong aso, aso na lang muna.”
However, Ruru also clarified his statement that he would want to get married first.
“Ay, hindi! Kasal muna bago anak.”
He continued that he would not get a woman pregnant.
“Ay, naku! Maingat ako!”
Ruru also added that his religion, Iglesia ni Cristo, forbids having a baby before marriage.
“Yun din, bawal din sa amin. Tsaka para sa akin, iba pa rin yun. Mas okey yung kasal bago anak.”
