- Veteran actor Robin Padilla compared being a young star before to young stars of today.
- The 48-year old former action star expressed disappointments to young stars who lack respect for the older generation of actors and actresses.
In an interview with PEP.ph, veteran actor Robin Padilla talked about the difference between the young stars of his generation to new generation of actors and actresses.
The 48-year old shared his experience with disrespectful newbie stars of this generation.
“Ngayon kasi, medyo may kulang dun, e,” Robin referring to the young stars who are not polite and courteous to older stars.
Hindi mo naman pinipilit sila,” he added.
According to Robin, he often experienced these undesirable attitudes of young stars today.
“Madami na po. Madami na,” Robin answered when asked he if he experienced getting ignored by younger stars.
“Nalulungkot ako, kasi nung panahon natin, bawal yun!
Robin, however, clarified that he is not obliging the young stars today to pay respect to veteran actors like him.
The “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” actor explained that being respected by the younger generation would be greatly appreciated by them.
“Siyempre, lumaki tayo dun, tumanda tayo dun, pumuti ang buhok natin dun,” he said.
