- The 50-year old actor relayed that they will finally get to do the things that they missed doing together.
Kapamilya upcoming teleserye “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” will reunite “Be Careful With My Heart” stars Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria. In his interview with PUSH.com, the 50-year old actor talked about working again with Jodi in a teleserye after almost four years.
“I am always happy to be working with Jodi kasi ‘yun nga komportable kami sa isa’t isa and I find this a very exciting project also because maraming challenges dito especially with Jodi, dalawa ang pino-portray niya and I also have a new character so it’s a new challenge for all of us,” Richard stated.
Richard shared what he missed with Jodi during their shootings for their hit teleserye before.
“For me ‘yung parati kaming nagkwe-kwentuhan, nagtatawanan kami. Nong umpisa kasi ng Be Careful parati kaming kumakain together, ‘yun din ang nami-miss namin kaya lang since masyado kaming tumaba non nagsabay-sabay din kaming nag-diet so ngayon puro kwentuhan at tawanan, ayon ang nami-miss ko sa pagsasama namin so now we are back to that,” he shared.
Aside from Jodi and Richard, the series will also feature former action star Robin Padilla as their love triangle. This will be the first time that Richard is working with Robin in a teleserye.
“Well of course siyempre may kaunting kaba tayo kasi siyempre si idol ‘yan eh di ba? Pero on my part I’ve always tried not to compare myself with others. Basta gawin ko lang the best that I can with my character and let’s see how it goes. Ganon lang naman ako. Hindi naman ako pwedeng makipag-kompetensya sa iba because we have our own strengths and weaknesses naman,” Richard said.
