Raymart Santiago needed to re-shoot some of his scenes in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 entry, “Haunted Forest.” The said scene turned out to be very crucial because Jane Oineza’s character became possessed.
Raymart, explained what happened during the accident:
“Pinasukan yung anak ko, tapos tinulak ako, tapos nabangga ko yung bintana, yung bintanang malaki. Nasa trailer yun, e.”
Then, he proceeded:
“Yung nahulog na bintana, tumama dito, tanggal ito. Patubo pa lang pero tanggal yung buo.”
Raymart realized that the injured finger caused him a great deal of pain which didn’t stop bleeding so he decided to bring himself to the hospital without telling anyone about it.
“Iniwanan ko sila sa shooting, e! Ako na nagdala, di na ako nagpaalam. Magpapaalam pa ba ako?! Masakit!”
Raymart also recalled:
“”Tinulak ako, nahulog yung lumang bintana, yung mabibigat, yung frame yung tumama sa akin. Pero ayos naman.”
He then continued:
“Inaawat ko siya, pag ganun, tumutulo, parang gripo yung dugo!”
Raymart revealed that the said scenes needed to be shot three weeks after.
“Stop yun, tas yung dugtong, kinuhanan after three weeks. Parang di ko pa kayang umawat awat kasi masakit, e! Pero yung iba, nagsu-shoot kami, wala munang hawakan, salita salita muna.”
