- Veteran actor Albert Martinez is cooking up the Pinoy adaptation of Hollywood movie franchise “Ocean’s Eleven.”

In a report written on Inquirer.net, it was revealed that veteran actor Albert Martinez is cooking up the all-star Pinoy movie inspired by Hollywood movie franchise, “Ocean’s Eleven.”
According to the 56-year old actor-director, the said action movie will have Cagayan de Oro and Moscow, Russia as their primary locations.
Albert told in his interview with Inquirer.net that the movie aims to reunite the brightest stars of 1980’s who will be joined by this generation’s hottest stars.
“It’s like 1980s Brat Pack meets Millennial Stars,” he said.
Albert, however, admitted that putting some of the biggest stars in the industry would require a lot of effort.
“The movie is a monumental task. It’s not easy to put together this huge cast in one project,” he explained.
Aside from Albert, the ensemble includes former matinee idols Gabby Concepcion, Aga Muhlach, William Martinez and Richard Gomez. It was also revealed the ‘Megastar’ Sharon Cuneta will be the lone rose among the thorns.
Some of the stars already expressed their interest to top bill the said movie. Meetings, story conference and look-test have been scheduled this 2018.
However, action stars Robin Padilla and Cesar Montano will not be able to join the all-star casts despite being tapped by their friend, Albert.
For the younger generation Kapamilya actors Coco Martin, Paulo Avelino, Arjo Atayde and Piolo Pascual is being considered in the movie.
Amid their preparation for the movie, rumors spread like fire that the billing is one of the reasons for the delay of the projects. Allegedly, some stars are are squabbling about who should go first in the credits.
“It’s totally untrue. It’s the script that’s holding it down. We want to make sure that each actor in the film would have equal screen impact,” Albert denies the issue.
Albert made his directorial debut in the big-budget MMFF 2010 period romance-drama, “Rosario” starring Jennylyn Mercado.
