- The 29-year old actor said that he will balance work and personal life this year.
Despite his success as an actor, Kapamilya star Paulo Avelino admitted that he has shortcomings as father to his son with LJ Reyes, Ethan Akio.
In an interview with PUSH.com, the 29-year old actor shared that he wants to spend more time with his son this 2018.
“For the longest time kasi hindi ko nakita ang anak ko dahil nagkaroon ng problema sa maraming bagay. Mid-last year naayos na at nakikita ko na ang anak ko. Ang problema naman minsan kapag malungkot ka gusto mo magtrabaho ng magtrabaho. So ang dami kong tinanggap na trabaho na aabot hanggang mid this year yata. So siguro kulang ko last year, this year siguro more time for my son. Lumalaki na rin (siya),” Paulo explained.
On the other hand, Paulo said that he is happy with her girlfriend Jodie Elizabeth Tarasek and that he wants to have a work-life balance this 2018.
“Parang magkaroon ng oras sa mga minamahal natin sa buhay na labas din sa ginagawa natin sa trabaho. Alam niyo naman sa trabaho natin round the clock tayo for several days dire-diretso. Ngayon naman gusto ko lang balansehin,” he said.
Paulo further expressed his interest to enter into directing and might venture in filmmaking this year.
Meanwhile, Paulo is set to star on the upcoming teleserye “Asintado” alongside Julia Montes, Aljur Abrenica, Shaina Magdayao and Lorna Tolentino.
