- Ogie Alcasid has a new film under Cinemalaya in 2018.
- He also asked for friends who could help produce the movie.
- He is still looking for support for OPM.
Aside from preparing for his #paMORE concert on February 10, Saturday, Ogie Alcasid excitedly shared his upcoming projects this 2018. He currently has a role in an upcoming film for Cinemalaya. He has also been asking for Piolo Pascual and Direk Joyce Bernal if they could be interested in producing the said film.
Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) President, Ogie shared that he liked the script he initially read.
“Nagustuhan ko din talaga ang script it’s something that I really want to do. Nakipag-meet na po ako sa writer at sa director, mayroon silang required budget para sa film.”
Currently, Ogie started looking for friends who could help produce the untitled film.
“Kinausap ko sina Piolo at direk Joyce ng Spring films kung interesado sila na i-produce. Sabi kasi ng writer ng pelikula na ako lang daw talaga ang nakikita nila para doon sa role na ginawa nila.”
When it comes to Original Pilipino Music, Ogie is also currently looking for people who could support the local music industry. He shared that they actually don’t have a control over the prices of concert tickets.
“The truth is, we have no control over this matter so, sila-sila mismo. Yung mga promoters, ang nagpa-price ng mga tickets na ‘yan.”
He also relayed the comparison between the concert ticket prices of foreign versus local acts.
“And siyempre, aminin man natin o hindi, nahihirapan din ang OPM dahil diyan. Because ang layu-layo ng prices ng tickets, tapos ‘yung kanila, laging sold out kaagad.”
