- Mocha Uson didn’t like what Karen Davila tweeted
Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Esther Margaux “Mocha” Uson chided broadcast journalist Karen Davila over the latter’s tweet regarding Uson’s alumni award.
On her Facebook page, Uson answered back at Davila saying she has no issue returning the award but she doesn’t want to look like an ingrate that is why she will not do that.
“Ms.
Uson’s post came after Davila tweeted about the issue advising Mocha of an alternative move to quell the controversy.
“If I were Mocha Uson I’d surprise them all by returning the award. #justathought” Karen tweeted
That doesn’t taste good to Mocha prompting rebuttal on her Facebook page.
In the Facebook post, Mocha said there will be no problem if the UST-AAI will get back her award saying it was just a simple recognition of being a UST graduate.
Alam mo po this is just a simple recognition na ako ay alumnus ng UST at isang public official.”
Mocha also questioned critics fixation on her award and pointed out a more pressing issue which is the Dengvaxia controversy.
She also advised Karen to make sure that the topic that she will discuss on her radio program is something that is important to the welfare of the country and not issues about her.
#justathought”
