- Kapuso actor Mikoy Morales shared his own definition of a ‘good show.’
- The 24-year old actor-comedian said that “Sirkus” will be new to viewers.
The upcoming Kapuso fantaserye “Sirkus” which features Mikoy Morales and Mikee Quintos as lead stars will be having a prime-time slot during weekends. The said series might compete with Kapamilya show “Wansapanatym.”
In an interview of PEP.ph, Mikoy reacted on the possible comparison of his new show to the longest running fantasy anthology in Philippine TV.
“Hindi naman,” Mikoy answered when asked if he feels pressure to the possible competition.
Mikoy also shared his own definition of a ‘good show’ however high ratings is still needed for a show to run long.
“You know you’re gonna have a good show if… of course, the ratings. Kailangan maganda ratings mo kasi it’s still a business,” he added.
“Pero you know you have a good show if you’re having fun in it and iba yung energy niya, e. So ako, mapresent lang na maganda yung materyal, at mapanindigan lang yung consistency niya, masaya na ako dun,” he added.
The “Bubble Gang” star said that “Sirkus” is definitely new to all of us.
“Regardless kung maputol kami, masakit yun, pero yun yung definition ko ng isang successful na show, e. Yung epekto niya sa tao and yung production niya mismo. This time, I’m really confident and it’s gonna be really different for all of us,” he ended.
“Sirkus” also feature veteran stars Cherry Gil and Gardo Versoza together with Chariz Solomon, Klea Pineda, Sef Cadayona and Andre Paras.
