- Maja makes her comeback to the local music scene through “Maja On Stage”
Beyond her busy schedules for hit TV series “Wildflower,” her Majasty, Maja Salvador still found time to prepare for a comeback to the Philippine music scene.
The center stage is getting ready for her return through “Maja On Stage,” a concert tour that will begin on February 4 in Cebu.
This much-awaited concert will kick off at the IEC Convention in Cebu then shall move on abroad at The Big Box East Jurong, Singapore on February 18, 2018.
Afterwards, Maja will come home again towards her show’s last leg at the KIA Theater on March 23.
“Nung sinabi na may plans about concert and ano magiging title, sinabi ko lang na parang na buong 2017, nagpaka actress ako, nag Wildflower lang ako the whole year, diba? So parang 2018, sasampa ulit ako ng stage,” she said.
The upcoming concert is set to be Maja’s fourth major show in her career. There’s “Maj: The Legal Performer” (2014), “Majasty” (2015) and “Only Maja” (2016).
“Eh forever love ko ‘yon. Forever love ko ‘yong pag-sho-show kaya hindi man kami magsama, magkahiwalay man kami ng ilang taon, pero babalik-balikan ko sya,” said Maja.
One might wonder how she does it, juggling one job with another. It’s a question we all would like to know the answer to, seeing Maja excel in everything she does, there really must be a secret.
It must be her passion for her craft. On her press conference for the said tour last week near ABS-CBN, Maja shared what drives her to push herself further.
“Siguro yung always na sinasabi ko, to give happiness. Yung magbigay ng entertainment sa mga kapamilya natin sa iba’t-ibang lugar at sa iba’t-ibang bansa. Yun naman talaga ang gusto ko kaya ko ginagawa ang lahat ng ito,” she ended.
Despite her hectic lineup of work and anxiousness towards this music comeback, Maja tries to do her best to fight whatever hindrance in order to provide the public with quality entertainment.
