Kristoffer Martin finds himself in hot water over his tweet published on January 26, Friday. Fans think that he tweeted against their idol, Maine Mendoza. AlDub fans continuously leave negative comments and replies on the said tweet.
Many fans also called Kristoffer sexist adding statements like, “When a woman hits a man, it’s not okay. When a man hits a woman, it’s okay?”
Kristoffer’s tweet read:
“Pag pinagbubuhatan ka na ng kamay ng babae, ibang usapan na yon.”
At first, some replied that the same rule should be applied to men.
“Same goes to all men. “
However, an explanation emerged when Alden Richards’ fan stated that Maine would often hit Alden. The fan also pleaded Alden to listen to Kristoffer, his best friend.
“Bibi boy @aldenrichards02 i hope you read this post of ur bestfriend and listen to him plss!!! Alam nmin na sinasaktan ka ni bagang @mainedcm physically plss ibang usapan n un tama si tun ibang usapan na un kung d ka makawala sa kanya bcos of the LT labanan mo sya gantihan mo”
This resulted in a battle inside the AlDub fandom. Some of Maine’s fans defended her which led to Alden’s fans disagreeing with them.
“Ksi po ung isang fan ni alden, ina accuse c maine,na pnagbubuhatan ng kamay c alden, saliit ni maine at sa laki ni alden,at bihira lang magkasama.kaya aun, nagalit ung mraming m osf.”
Some fans stood up against Kristoffer and asked him to clarify his tweet.
“Ng dahil sa tweet mo ayan dinadamay na si M,bat di mo linawin kung wala kang intensyong gumawa ng tsismis na makasisira sa iba.”
Kristoffer wrote another tweet trying to end the stir around his name against Maine.
“What’s wrong with people nowadays? Nagpapakain masyado sa sistema. Kumalma nga kayo dami nanamang mema.”
