Julia Barretto will have an upcoming film and TV projects with the onscreen partner and rumored boyfriend, Joshua Garcia. In an interview with PEP.ph, Joshua also revealed how he feels the excitement of working with Julia again.
Joshua also revealed the real score between him and Julia.
JoshLia fans, then, went crazy over an Instagram photo of the two on a date.
Julia’s post on January 26 also read: “This is him happily telling me that he has a strong core but has no abs. He looked so happy, I couldn’t help but take a photo. I missed this guy.”
However, Joshua confirmed that they go on dates but don’t have a label yet.
“Wala, wala pa ring label, ganun pa rin yun. Happy. Tulad ng mga sabi namin sa mga presscons namin, kapag ready naman kami, sasabihin naman namin. Di naman namin itatago sa inyo. Bakit naman kami magtatago, di ba? Pag ready na kami, sasabihin namin. We’re still dating, masaya lang kasi kami, ine-enjoy namin yung buhay, di kami nagmamadali.”
In the said interview, Joshua shared that they are happy with the blessings that they receive.
“Masaya pa rin kami sa buhay namin, sa mga blessings na dumarating. Lalo na ngayon, may pumasok na bagong pelikula at soap. Excited na kaming magkatrabaho uli. Sobra kasi malapit sa akin yung pelikula, napakaganda ng istorya, very unique. I’m excited dun sa movie saka yung soap. Maganda yung istorya, malalim. Yun ang gusto ko.”
Joshua, then, expressed his gratitude on the positive feedback on The Good Son.
“Yes, sobrang saya ko sa mga kasama ko na cast dahil sa mga natatanggap naming papuri ng mga tao. Yung ratings masarap sa pakiramdam na 20 percent, 19 percent. Sana patuloy lang na abangan ng mga tao. Pag may na-miss ka kasing episode, malaki ang nawawala sa iyo kaya dapat nakatutok lang talaga.”
Joshua disclosed that the cast didn’t have to speak with the others. The Good Son also stars Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas and McCoy de Leon among others.
“Ay wala, wala. Kami kasi, may sari-sarili kaming eksena, kada isang week. Week ni Jerome, week ni Nash, week ni McCoy, tapos si Mr. John Estrada. Ako, susunod na yung akin, isyu-shoot na namin this week. Katatapos lang namin sa week 13, week 13 na kami. Week 14, istorya ko naman.”
In a past interview with PEP.ph, Joshua also admitted he puts more effort into acting to differ from John Lloyd Cruz. He also shared that he is aware of the comparison between them.
“Di ko alam, eh. Siyempre, mga tao ang nakakakita nun. Ako, basta maging natural lang yung eksena ko, anuman ang maging judgement nila sa acting ko, sila magsasabi nun.”
